Dedicated to 550-year-old Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Inter-school gurmat competitions were held at Akal Academy Baru Sahib. Some of the selected teams at the zonal level, were came at Akal Academy Baru Sahib to took participate in such Gurmat competitions.
The competitions include the Gurmukhi Patti Sundar Writing Competition, Bhai Lalo Sakhi Presentation Competition, Japuji Sahib Kanth Competition, Bhai Mardana Ji Shabad Singing Contest, Sikh Gosht(i) Speech Competition, Pandit Hardayal Gurmat Quiz competition. More than 350 children participated in these competitions. And the winners were honored with medals, Trophies and certificates.
The Honorable Baba Iqbal Singh Ji blessed the children of Akal Academies of Punjab and Dr. Davinder Singh , Dr. Neelam Kaur shared some words with the children and honored the children. S. Gurdev Singh Mohinder Singh Jagmohan Singh and Sh. Juneja encouraged the children by rewarding them.
On this 2 days programme of 17th and 18th of October, the Ex students of Akal Academy Baru Sahib contributed whole heartedly to make this gurmat programme successful.
