The vigilance awareness week was observed from 30.10.2023 to 05.11.2023 with the following theme :-
” Say no to corruption; Commit to the nation”
We have organized the following activities regards corruption awareness week 2023.
- Displaying of banners, hoarding posters during awareness week.
- Integrity pledge to be organized by incharge of institute Activity Cell. In this oath event students from Grade VI to X were participated.
- Principal Madam of Akal Academy Chak Desraj sensitize the students of senior classes about the ill effects of corruption in the society and promote moral values amongst the students.
- Principal Madam also sensitize the staff members for creating awareness among the staff members about all the ill effects of corruption and to promote integrity, probity and honesty.
- Special emphasis may be given to encourage the youth in various activities emphasizing the importance of integrity and ethics.
- Organized the debate between the houses on topic corruption.
- Essay writing competition/ Poster making competition on moral values, ethics and good governance practices covering the theme of VAW – 2023 so as to generate healthy debate on corruption and for ensuring active participation of students of school were also done from Grade V to X students on different different topics such as :-
Grade VI :- Corruption and their disadvantages
Grade VII :- Causes of corruption in india
Grade VIII -: How corruption increase day by day
Grade IX and X :- How we stop corruption in this modern era.
- Organized the seminar on theme – ” Say No to corruption, commit to the nation.
- We advised the students of class IX and X , staff and others to take e- pledge and to encourage others to take e- pledge.
- Seminar on topic – I’ll effects of corruption in the society by Principal Madam of Akal Academy Chak Desraj.
At the last Principal Madam appreciated the students and say thank to Institution Activity Cell of Akal Academy Chak Desraj, Phillaur, Jalandhar and motivate the students for participation in future events because these competition and activities helped the Students for showcase their talent in various activities under one roof.
