Republic Day is celebrated on 26th January every year to mark the day on which our constitution came into effect in 1950. After this day our country truly became democratic and independent. The fundamental law of the country, the Constitution, was enacted out of the diligence and hard work of great men like Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous other freedom fighters who fought and sacrificed their lives for the independence of our country.
Akal Academy, Holi Barara celebrated Republic Day with great passion and enthusiasm. The morning assembly was held in the school field at 9:30 am. At first, the flag hoisting was done by Principal Madam, Mrs. Jasmeet Kaur followed by reciting National Anthem . The students of Grade VIth onwards participated in Badge making and Handmade crafts activities using Tricolour things. They actively participated in Patriotic Dance and Songs .They recited Patriotic poems also.
Kindergarten Activities:

Kindergarten students participated in these activities virtually. They sent pics of tricolor food also.
