A student of Akal Academy Theh Kalandar, a branch of Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib, secured the third position in the Kala Utsav competitions held at the district level for students of classes IX to XII under Samgar Shiksha. Giving information, the Principal of the Academy, Mrs. Gurjit Kaur Sidhu, said that in this competition, Chandni Kaur, a student of class X of her academy, father Mr. Amritpal Singh, participated with great enthusiasm and brought glory to the name of her teachers and parents. The student made a picture on the subject of Punjab in which the heritage of Punjab and the Punjabi language were specially expressed. On this occasion, the Principal, feeling proud, said that the students of the Academy are leaders in every field and their physical, mental and intellectual development is taking place in a very constructive environment.
