A “Cooking Without Fire” competition was organized for children at Akal Academy Theh Kalandar, a branch of Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib, today, August 13. This program was organized by the Academy’s Principal Sahiba Mrs. Gurjit Kaur Sidhu, under the leadership of the S.S.T. Department and Class In-charge. Children from classes 6 to 8 participated with great enthusiasm in these competitions. The children made foods like Nutella, Pasty, Fruit Cake, Mojito, Fruit and various types of decorative lemon juice, pasties, chocolate rolls etc. The Principal Sahiba, while giving information, said that through such activities, the moral values and social values of the children increase, due to which these children can create a constructive society in the future.
