Khalsa Creation Day and Baisakhi festival celebrated with great devotion at Akal Academy Thehkalandar
Khalsa Sajna Diwas and Baisakhi festival were celebrated with great devotion in Akal Academy Thehkalandar run by Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib. This program was organized by the Principal of Akal Academy, Mrs. Gurjit Kaur Sidhu Ji, in-charge of Gurmat Department, Mrs. Talwinder Kaur, Mr. Abhinav and Mrs. Sunaina. On this sacred occasion, the atmosphere of the school was seen colored in spiritual colors. First, the Akal family recited Sri Japji Sahib Ji, Chaupai Sahib Ji, in which students and teachers participated with great emotion. During the recitation, peace and tranquility were felt in the entire campus. After this, Shabad Kirtan was performed by the students, which captivated everyone’s mind and colored it in spiritual colors. The students also sang poems and poems. After this, the Principal of Akal Academy, Mrs. Gurjit Kaur Sidhu Ji gave an emotional speech about the importance of Khalsa Sajna Diwas and Baisakhi. He told how the tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, gave a new identity to the Sikh community by establishing the Khalsa Panth in 1699. He inspired everyone to follow the teachings of the Gurus. At the end, a prayer was offered, in which the welfare of all was prayed for. On this occasion, happiness and enthusiasm were visible among the students. On this occasion, the Principal Sahiba said during the conversation that the Tenth Guru, Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, had given spiritual color to the Sikh community by establishing the Khalsa Panth on this day. Today, we also need to follow the path shown by the Gurus and obtain the gift of Amrit and mold our lives according to Gurmat.
